About me:

I’m was born and raised in Sonoma County, CA. I’ve also lived in SF and on two other continents. Living outside of the country, among different cultures has greatly impacted my perception of people and the world. Currently, I live and work as a psychotherapist in the Bay Area. I also work with people located elsewhere via tele-health.

My story is that I experienced certain events which opened up the path to become a healer. A few of my traumas, and a near death experience included immense suffering. I’ve used the suffering to inform me about what is important in life. As a teenager, I dealt with severe depression, suicide and a major concussion. At age 18, I wanted to understand the why of all this, and how I was responsible for my experience. How to move from a victim mentality to an empowered mentality was a massive learning curve. I’m here to help others transform in that way. My inner critic was (and still can be) a beast to handle. Do you struggle with your internal dialogue? To summarize my story, the neuroticism and shortcomings I’ve struggled with needed attending to. Embarking on a path of personal well-being was challenging, and to be honest, it is one that does not end. My chosen lifestyle has firmly grounded me in the career of therapy work. Since my entrance into the mental health field in 2009, I’ve honed skills to facilitate the healing process of others. I want to assist you to ease the suffering life inherently bestows upon us.
